About the MeetUp

As part of the Erasmus+ CBHE project WEB3 Innovation Hub, the University of Mostar hosted the Women in Web3 MeetUp, an event dedicated to strengthening the visibility and participation of women in the Web3 and blockchain ecosystem.

The meetup was held on April 23 with representatives from partner institutions from Split, Belgrade, Sarajevo, and Montenegro, as well as interested students and doctoral candidates from the University of Mostar.

Designed as a short and focused forum, the event created space for knowledge exchange, sharing experiences, and networking in the field of emerging digital technologies.

Lecture and Topic

Morana Vukic Perak

The lecture titled "EU Regulation & Crypto Market" was delivered by Morana Vukic Perak from Electrocoin and Alice in Blockchains.

In her presentation, she addressed current European Union regulatory frameworks and their application to the crypto market, focusing on development trends, legal challenges, and opportunities emerging within the Web3 industry.

Project Goals

As part of the project activities, the Women in Web3 MeetUp contributes to a broader series of events focused on promoting gender diversity in the Web3 field.

Regional Cooperation

The project is implemented in cooperation with universities from Mostar, Split, Sarajevo, Montenegro, and Belgrade, with the support of industry partners.

Through activities like this meetup, project dissemination is further strengthened while encouraging greater inclusion of women in the Web3 and blockchain field.
